Aloha! My name is Joelle Ihilani Birano, a surface designer from Hawaii, currently living in Pullman, Washington while my husband works on a PhD. We have five crazy and adorable kids ages 2 to 12.
I’m a introvert, pretty sure I’m a four on the enneagram, I love pretty much any and all kinds of music. I sang and played the flute in high school and wish music was a bigger part of my life today. I love jazz, especially Brazilian bossa nova because it suits my voice but nowadays I love playing Hawaiian music on my ‘ukulele.
When I’m not with my family or designing, you can find me crying through This is Us, listening to podcasts or reading historical fiction, or working on some new-to-me hobbies: puzzles and cross stitch,
